A good character sustains every relationship.
What is Character?
Character is a commitment to a set of values without compromise – that is, you don’t lower your standard as a person of Character.
Your values are the things you value. Your values produce Character. If you value your relationship with someone, you will be truthful, trustworthy, and not cheat or lie.
For example, if you value your marriage, you will not commit adultery, so they do not value their marriage vows when a person commits adultery. They lose their trust in their spouse and children.
Character is when your words and your deeds or your actions are one.

A person without a Character will say one thing and do another thing. You cannot trust them or rely on them. If you are dating someone, please watch out for their Character. Don’t marry with your eyes close.
A person of Character is a Principle person, and that person is willing to sacrifice friendship to protect their Principle. Character is integrity. A person of Character does not change. The person is ready to apologise when he misses it.

- The word tempt means to test for weakness.

Three things that will test your Character in a relationship.
- Money – when you’re the person providing all the money, your Character will show up.
- Power – when you have control, your Character will show up.
- Sex – access to sex or lack of sex
You need to value your Character as it becomes your lifestyle.
Some people say what I do in private is not of your business. Do you know that a person of Character does not care if you discover their personal life because they will do the same in public?
If you are afraid that someone will find out about your private life, you have no Character.
Character is necessary to build a good relationship because it sustains your relationship.
